The Talk Down Under Service - Overview
Talk Down Under specializes in providing international students and travellers with Mobile services and other communication needs.
Its really easy to organize. You choose the plan and handset (optional) that suits your needs and we deliver it to your orientation in Australia, your nominated Australian Address or you can pick it up from one of our Pick Up points around Australia.
You will receive your mobile number before you come to Australia so you can tell your family and friends before you leave home.
How the billing works
There is a $9.95 SIM and Activation fee for all connections. This will appear on your set up invoice, which you will receive via email shortly after you order.
You will be sent a invoice via email each month. Within 10 days of you receiving this invoice your nominated account will be debited.
On Account Plans are not pre paid. Your account is debited in arrears. You are billed in arrears for your minimum commitment plus any calls, text, etc that you have used over and above your included spend amount. You are also billed in advance for the following months minimum commitment.
Your first invoice
Your first invoice is prorated for the days your account has been active. For example if your account was activated on the 10th of the month you will be billed for only 8 days because our bill cycle runs from the 18th of the month to the following 17th.
