Plan Charges For On Account Plans
Billing Charges
The credit card or Australian bank account that is initially used in ordering a Talk Down Under service will be used automatically for the monthly invoices unless we are notified otherwise. Invoices will be sent via an emailed PDF – this is legally required so you know what you are being charged for. There is no need to contact us for payment unless you wish to change credit cards or Australian bank account details. The payment date will be shown on the invoice – this is the date the payment will be automatically debited from your account.
Please make sure that your financial institution is aware that Talk Down Under will be debiting from your nominated credit card as payments that are declined due to Do Not Honour, Restricted Card, Insufficient Funds, Invalid Expiry Date etc. will incur a $10 administration fee. This may also result in a late payment fee of $5 if payment is not able to be made on the due date.
Sim Card Charges
A $15 fee is charged per plan for the sim card. This fee is waived if a handset is purchased.
Lost or Stolen Phones and Sim Cards
A $15 fee is charged for a replacement sim card if your handset is stolen or lost.
If your phone is faulty, we will replace the handset free of charge and send a replacement with a prepaid satchel for the return of the faulty handset.
Postage Fees
If you order a plan to be posted to an Australian address other than orientations, a $6.95 postage fee will be charged for a sim only and $11.95 if a handset is required.
No postage fees for replacement sim cards and faulty handsets.
